Delete Your Data — Kartomed
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This page explains how to delete the data of the app Kartomed — Health Records by the developer Foleks Apps Studio (Oleksandr Fedorko). Kartomed has no accounts and no server of ours: records, documents and settings are kept only on your phone. So you delete them yourself — in the app or in the phone's settings. There is no request to send us and nothing to wait for.
1. Delete everything
- Uninstall Kartomed — Android deletes all its data: profiles, records, documents, settings and AI keys.
- Or, keeping the app: Android Settings → Apps → Kartomed → Storage & cache → Clear storage.
This cannot be undone. Backups made earlier are not deleted by this (section 3).
2. Delete part of the data
- A record (visit, study, lab test, vaccination): open it → Delete.
- A document: open it → Delete document. All its pages are deleted from the phone.
- A medicine course: open it → Delete the course.
- A whole profile with all its records: open the profile → Delete profile.
- The AI key: Settings → AI and data → AI recognition → Delete the key.
What you delete is gone from the phone at once; it can be brought back only from a backup.
3. Backups
Backups stay where you saved them — in a folder on the phone, on your Google Drive, in Dropbox or on your WebDAV server — until you delete them there. Disconnecting a cloud in the app stops new backups and revokes the app's access, but the backups already made stay. Cloud backups are encrypted with your password: we can neither read nor delete them.
4. Shared profile
If you shared a profile, its copy on the other person's phone belongs to them. Revoke their access in the app — the exchange stops — and ask them to delete the copy (Disconnect → Delete the profile from this phone). Files in a shared WebDAV folder stay on the server until they are deleted there.
5. Data sent to an AI provider
Recognition and explanations go from the phone straight to the provider you chose, with your own key; we do not receive them. How long the provider keeps them is up to the provider — ask it to delete them under its privacy policy.
6. Data we hold
We hold no data from the app: no records, no documents, no keys, no information about its use. If you wrote to us (for example, to report a problem with an AI answer), we will delete your emails within 30 days on request — write to kartomed@foleks.com.
